Robert "Bob" (Buddy) T. Marshall, 85
LOUISVILLE

Robert "Bob" (Buddy) T. Marshall, 85, of Louisville, passed away peacefully on July 12, 2025, at Westport Place Health. He was born on January 8, 1940. He was preceded in death by his parents, Bob and Margaret Marshall. Buddy grew up in Simpsonville and Shelbyville. He was a 1958 graduate of Shelbyville High School where he loved playing football and basketball. He was a proud Red Devil. Buddy attended Western Kentucky University and served in the Kentucky Air National Guard and the U.S. Air Force. He spent many years as a manufacturer representative. He was a partner in United Sales Associates in Cincinnati, OH.
Buddy is survived by Carol, his wife of 60 years. He loved his daughters, Kathy Quarles (Daniel) of St. Petersburg, Fla. and Leigh Sheridan (Tim) of Louisville. He was proud of his grandchildren, Wheeler and Marshall Sheridan. He is also survived by his brother, Kenny Marshall (Jackie) of Villa Rica, Ga.
The family is thankful for the compassionate care he received at Westport Place Health.
Shannon Funeral Service, 1124 Main Street, Shelbyville, Ky. is in charge of arrangements. Services will be held there on July 19, 2025, with visitation at 10 until 11 a.m., with the memorial service at 11 a.m. Interment of the cremated remains will follow at the Grove Hill Cemetery in Shelbyville.
