Robert Martik Sr.

Robert "Bob" Martik, Sr., 72, of Venetia, passed away Saturday, February 14, 2026, in his home. He was born April 8, 1953, in New Eagle, a son of the late Frank and Marian Martik. Bob was self-employed as a general contractor, owning and operating his business, R.W. Martik and Sons Construction. He was a parishioner at St. Francis of Assisi Church in Finleyville. His greatest joy in life was his family, especially his grandchildren. Surviving are his wife, Linda Martik; two sons, Robert (Marissa) Martik Jr. of Peters Township, and Ryan (Tricia) Martik of Finleyville; one daughter, Christine Martik of Munhall; six brothers and four sisters; seven grandchildren, Aston, Lawson, Leo, Truxton, Quinn, Valen and Aurelius, and one grandchild, Octavia, on the way; and many nieces and nephews. Visitation will be held from 6 to 8 p.m. Tuesday, February 17, and from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Wednesday, February 18, in Kegel Funeral Home, Inc., David P. Kegel, supervisor, 3560 Washington Avenue, Finleyville. A Blessing Service will begin at 10 a.m. Thursday, February 19, in the funeral home. Memorial donations can be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital.
