We are overwhelmed to announce the passing of our beautiful son, Robert J. Martin of San Marcos, TX on August 3rd. Robert was an adored son, brother, grandson, relative and friend to so many whose lives he touched through his kindness, gentle caring and lighthearted spirit, always willing to share a laugh, bear hug and brighten a room with his presence. Robert was a music and theater lover since high school, loved cooking and skiing, and always enjoyed leisure/vacation time with family and friends – especially cruising! We are so proud of him for all he accomplished in just over 24 years and honored by his service to our country as a Marine. He worked so hard to prepare for and achieve that goal!
Robert is survived by his parents, Jim & Joanne, sister and future brother-in law, Jen & Michael, grandparents, Bob & Laura as well as countless aunts, uncles, cousins and friends who are devastated by this loss and will miss him dearly. He was preceded in death by his grandparents Joe and Mary.
Final arrangements in Dallas, TX are below - All who know him are welcome to attend and share memories:

Robert's legacy of love and kindness will live on in the hearts of all who were fortunate enough to know him. Our lives are certainly so much better for having had him for even so brief a time! We will love and miss him always.
