Robert W. Masse

Robert "Bobby" William Masse, 39, of Manchester, entered into eternal rest peacefully at home on March 8, 2026. Robert was born on August 20, 1986, to parents Alan J. And Sally A. (Lockery) Masse in Manchester.

Robert was such a bright light in this world. He taught so many people about unconditional love. His smile was infectious, and his blue eyes lit up every room he was in. Robert was a graduate of Manchester High School Class of 2008 and continued making memories at his day program (Network) in Manchester. Robert was a member at a young age of Cub Scout Pack 47 and Boy Scout Troop 27. Robert was also a member of St. George's Episcopal Church in Bolton.

Robert loved to keep moving as he enjoyed camping, visits to Myrtle Beach, and many family trips including a recent Disney Cruise. Robert enjoyed his summers at the beach at Camp Harkness (a Connecticut State Park designed for individuals with different abilities).

Besides his loving parents, Alan and Sally, Robert is survived by his sister, Rebecca Ferguson and her husband Chris and nieces Harper and Ellie; Uncles William Lockery, John (Sue) Masse, and James Masse, and numerous cousins. Robert also leaves behind his fur-babies, Luke and Leia, and all the friends he made everywhere he went.

Relatives and friends are invited to the John F. Tierney Funeral Home, 219 West Center St. in Manchester on Sunday, March 15 from 2-5pm. A funeral mass will take place on Monday, March 16 at 11am St. George Church, 1150 Boston Tpke. in Bolton, followed by burial at East Cemetery in Manchester. Family and friends are welcome to join the family for a reception at the church following the cemetery.

In lieu of flowers, the family has requested that donations be made in Robert's name to the Camp Harkness Foundation, 301 Great Neck Rd., Waterford, CT 06385.
