Robert Mathis Obituary
He was retired from the United States Army.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Robert and Laura Mathis.
He is survived by his wife, Barbara Clevenger Mathis; sons, Rob (Missy) Mathis and Chuck (Heather) Mathis; grandchildren, Robbie (Kenzie) Ike (Bella), Isabelle, Gracie, and Sophie; great-grandchildren, RJ and Evie; brother, Mark Mathis; sisters, Paula Ann Mathis, Pam (Terry) Ball; blood-brothers, Glen (Inkey) Phillips and Jerry (Eli) Cureton; many nieces and nephews; his Army buddies, Ogles, Wills and Tribbey; also many other family and friends.
The Memorial Funeral Service will be 3 p.m. Sunday, May 18, 2025 at Liberty Church with Rev. John Rush officiating. The family will receive friends 1 p.m. – 3 p.m. prior to the service at Liberty Church.
Family and friends may sign the guest register online at www.manesfuneralhome.com.
