Robert Glenn McDaniel Sr.

Mr. Robert Glenn McDaniel, Sr., 90, passed from this life on Sunday, October 20, 2024, at his residence with his loving family by his side. He was born on September 15, 1934 in Magnolia, MS, to Otto McDaniel and Eula McMillan McDaniel.
He loved traveling and sight-seeing, admiring God's nature. He was a superintendent for T.L. James Highway Construction until he retired in 2001. He loved working on his farm and mowing the yard. He was a loving husband, father, grandfather, great-grandfather and friend. He was a member of Terry's Creek Baptist Church.
Preceding him in death were his parents; brothers, Charles E. McDaniel, Thomas Gene McDaniel, James Ray McDaniel; and sister, Catherine Smith.
Survivors are his wife of 70 years, Jerry Chunn McDaniel; brother, Joe McDaniel (Ann); sons, Robert Glenn McDaniel, Jr., Mark McDaniel (Laurie), Barry McDaniel (Norma); 9 grandchildren; 9 great grandchildren; and a host of family and friends.
Pallbearers are Glenn McDaniel, Jr., Mark McDaniel, Barry McDaniel, Alan McDaniel, Tanner McDaniel, and Hunter McDaniel.
Honorary pallbearers are Jimmy and Keith Chunn, Joe McDaniel, Eli McDaniel, and Keith Hyde.
The funeral will be held at Terry's Creek Baptist Church in Magnolia, MS, Friday, October 25, 2024. Visitation will begin at 9:00 AM until time of service at 11:00 AM. A graveside service will immediately follow in the church cemetery with Rev. La Vern Summerlin officiating.
