March 25th, 2025 at the age of 74Robert J. McDevitt, age 74, of Philadelphia, passed away at home on March 25, 2025, surrounded by his loving family.
Bob lit up a room just by being there. He was always recognized by his friendly smile, infectious laugh and his happy-go-lucky attitude. He loved to be surrounded by his family and cherished being together on the holidays. He also liked to make time for his "Breakfast Club" with his friends from PGW. Bob was a huge Baseball fan. He would watch any team play but he would always root for the Phillies and Yankees. He enjoyed going to the casino and playing cards especially poker. In his quiet time he would watch Western Movies.
Cherished husband of Susan (nee Spencer), Beloved father of Robert Jr. (Christine) and Colleen. Devoted grandfather of Robert III, Erin, Molly, Shane and Rylee. Loving great-grandfather of Angel. Dear Brother of Eugene (Gail) and the late Joseph (Fran).
Relatives and friends are invited to offer condolences to his family on Friday March 28, 2025, from 5:00 PM- 7:00 PM at T.J. Fluehr Funeral Home, 11010 Knights Rd. Religious Service 7:00 PM.
Florists, all deliveries must arrive at the funeral home by Noon on Friday.

Your ability to have an immediate come back when cut up unexpectedly is. Magical ! I´m sure lucky you called Me Friend Bobby, we shared 55 plus years to
60 years and enjoyed both the good times and plenty tough losses but always friendship was Strong. I´ll miss you as you were always there and I´ll cut you up cause you can´t respond !
