Robbie and I worked together for many years at Disneyland and even though I left there years ago, he's kindness and wonderful voice have often come to me! Such a memorable gentleman! He will truly be missed.

Rob was a chaperone for our Houston Radio station when we had a Disney promotion a couple of years ago and my daughter and I never lost touch with him. He was the nicest most sincere gentlemen we have ever met he even made us a special batch of treats while there. He will truly be missed. Our thoughts and prayers go out to his family and all the friends he had at the place he loved Disneyland.

I worked with his Mother Shirley for many years at Bank of America. She was so proud of Robert and had wonderful stories she told about him and working at Disneyland. Everytime I would go to Disneyland I would look for him and try to say hello. My thoughts and prayers are with Shirley and her family.

I didn't know Rob personally, but I "knew" him from the Candy Palace at Disneyland. I remember when I first became aware that freshly made candy canes were available in December. I made a point of being at the park, getting a wrist band, standing outside the window and watching the whole process from start to finish. After that, I always looked for Rob whenever I was in the park and at the Candy Kitchen. He had such a friendly countenance, and nice smile, I just enjoyed seeing "the candy cane guy". I'd wait to catch his eye, smile at him, maybe a little wave, and he always responded. So I just wanted to let his family and friends know that even though we never met, and he didn't know me, I knew him and seeing him made my Disneyland visits a little brighter. My condolences to you all.

Thank you Rob for making my life a little bit sweeter! I will cherish the invaluable advise you always freely gave me on my candy making. May God bless your family and friends with peace and comfort. May God welcome you back with open arms and the benediction "Well done, thou good and faithful servant."
