Robert Gordon "Rob" Mennis

Robert "Rob" Gordon Mennis, MD, age 83 of New Braunfels, passed away on July 20, 2025. Rob was born on August 11, 1941 in Sydney Australia to Dorothy Edna (O'Neill) and Gordon R. Walker, then adopted by James John Mennis. Rob is preceded in death by his parents. Survivors include his loving wife of 41 years, Sondra Mennis; children, Monique Mennis and husband Will Lokke, Spencer Mennis and wife Juri Jung, and Gannon Mennis and fiancé Victoria Santiago; grandchildren, Leif Lokke, Leena Lokke, Mason Mennis, Kane Mennis and Haydn Mennis; sisters, Diane DeHedervary of Australia and Penelope Rettenmaier of Australia; other loving family members and friends. Graveside services and interment with military honors will be held on Friday, August 8, 2025 at 11 a.m. at the Caballero Rivero Woodlawn North Cemetery in Miami, Florida.
