From timing how long it took me to climb out of my bunk bed and get dressed as a kid-just to see if I´d make a good firefighter-to sharing the funny, the scary, and the heartbreaking moments of our careers in the fire service, your energy, laughter, and joy were infectious. You taught me how to have thick skin and a soft heart. I will treasure our semi-monthly phone calls and every moment we shared for as long as I walk this earth. I love you and I miss you, Papa.
