In Loving Memory of Robert & Michele Milavsky

Robert and Michele Milavsky, lifelong partners, passed away after decades devoted to family, community, and one another. Married on September 4, 1966, their union was a true partnership built on loyalty, resilience, and love.

Born and raised in the Northeast, Robert grew up in Connecticut and Michele in Massachusetts. Both were raised with strong family values and a deep appreciation for hard work. They each graduated from Bridgeport University, a shared milestone that marked the beginning of their future together.

Robert proudly served honorably in the United States Army from February 1960 to January 1963 in the RA SIG ASA before transferring to the USAR XII U.S. Army Corps. He earned the Good Conduct Medal and was officially discharged in February 1966. His dedication to service reflected the integrity, strength, and perseverance he carried throughout his life.

After residing in New York and Ohio, Robert and Michele settled in Bensalem, Pennsylvania, where they built a loving home for 47 years before retiring to Langhorne. Michele devoted her life to being a homemaker-an active, caring presence who volunteered in school PTOs and supported her daughters' sports teams. Robert built a career in customer service, where his reliability, kindness, and good humor made him truly treasured by coworkers and customers alike.

Together they raised their two daughters-Amy Brander (Scott) of Delray Beach, Florida, and Mindy Milavsky of Ewing, New Jersey. They were also the proud grandparents of Alyssa and Ryan. Their children were their greatest joy and proudest accomplishment. Nothing made them happier than attending their daughters' swimming events, celebrating their achievements, and watching them grow into the women they became.

Robert and Michele embraced life's simple pleasures. They loved playing Wii bowling in their later years, watching Netflix together, and never missing a sporting event-especially the Eagles, Phillies, or the Olympics. Dining out was one of their favorite pastimes, and they enjoyed exploring local Chinese and Italian restaurants.

Intellectually curious, they shared a love for reading and were often found with a newspaper in hand-frequently several a day. They challenged themselves with the "word of the day," turning it into a small ritual they enjoyed together.

Michele was known for her strong personality, generosity, and curiosity. She was demanding in the way only a loving mother can be-encouraging her family to always do their best. She had a kind and giving heart and a sharp, thoughtful mind.

Robert was hardworking, devoted, loving, and strong-willed. His jovial spirit and easy warmth made him a friend to everyone he met. In his later years, he cherished the camaraderie of his dialysis friends and the sense of community around him.

Their life together was marked by loyalty, resilience, and unwavering devotion. They leave behind a legacy of love, strength, and family that will forever live on in those who had the privilege of knowing them.

Services

A private family service will take place on Monday, November 17th, at 8:45 AM sharp at Washington Crossing National Cemetery,
830 Highland Road, Newtown, PA 18940.

Shiva will be observed on:
Sunday, November 16th and Monday, November 17th, 3-6pm
