Robert Miles Obituary
He was born April 8, 1971, son of Charles Robert and Mary Elizabeth Mattingly Miles. Robert was a graduate of Trinity High School and a farmer.
In addition to his parents, Robert was preceded in death by his brothers, Mike and John Miles.
Survivors include his wife, Samantha "Sammy" Miles; children, Lindsey Davis (Tommy) and Bryant Miles; grandchildren, Whitley, Lilah and Sawyer Davis; bonus son, Ben Florence; siblings, Charlotte Freeman (Mark), Susie Jarboe (Ben), Kathy Bleemel (Ronny), Ed Miles (Trish) and Jimmy Miles (Andrea); sister-in-laws Gina Miles and Lisa Miles, and mother-in-law, Tommee Clark, Father-in-Law, Bill Bernard.
He loved his 5 dogs, (Dehlilah, Della, Dylan, Darlin, Darci), the farm will surely miss him. The hay fields, pumpkin patch and flower fields will not be the same without him in them doting on what was growing so well. He was compassionate about farming. Robert loved many, stubborn, set in his ways, but that was Robert, he loved you fiercely and would make sure that you knew his wish of what needed to be done. That voice will be highly missed. He was the backbone for many, and the rock for his wife, and loved his grandchildren. He was one proud grandpa, that was the best title he ever earned in his life.
Visitation is 2-8pm Friday, June 20, 2025 at Fern Creek Funeral Home, 5406 Bardstown Road, Louisville, KY 40291 and will include a funeral service at 6:30pm.
