Robert L. Miller, 83, of Springdale, passed away Monday, Dec. 29, 2025, in Harmar Village. He was born June 26, 1942, to his parents, the late Howard and Verna Rummel Miller, and has been a lifelong resident of the community. Mr. Miller worked for Glenshaw Glass, where he retired. He enjoyed going to the Krivan club in Springdale to visit his friends and watch his favorite Pittsburgh sports teams, but most of all, his family and grandchildren were his top priority. Bob will be sadly missed. Surviving him are his loving wife of 63 years, Eileen (Mary) Devlin Miller; son, Robert (Tracey) Miller of Lower Burrell; daughter, Leslie (Robert) Sutton of Springdale; sister, Verna May Covert of Lawrenceville; grandchildren, Stephanie, Rebecca (Rob), Nathan (Elizabeth), Joshua (Kaitlyn), and Kathryn (Anthony); great-grandchildren, Lillian; and the future great-grandson, Boden. Besides his parents, Mr. Miller was also preceded in death by two sisters, Ruth Coyne and Betty Carney; and a brother, Gerald Miller. Friends will be received on Thursday, Jan. 1, 2026, from 2 to 6 p.m. in CHARLES B. JARVIE SPRINGDALE FUNERAL HOME INC., 801 Pgh.
