Even though I never lived on Delaware Street, I married Robert Ande who did. I was always amazed by the similarities in the Missimers and the Andes. Both couples were named Bob and Ann. Each couple had five children, but the Missimers had four girls and a boy and the Andes four boys and one girl. Since I was at Delaware Street a lot, I remember Bob Missimer very fondly. He was always full of life and laughter. He spoke his mind, pulled your leg, and I felt as I and my children were also a part of his family. On holidays, it was like going to a Delaware Street block party. I was amazed how well everyone got along. It seemed like we were all one big family. Bob will certainly be missed. Heaven watch out; you've got a live wire coming your way.
Sally Ande I know my husband Bob echoes these sentiments and could add a lot more!

As a child on Delaware Street. Growing up with our"alley", of families, Mr. Missimer was a super sweet man to us, always there to help and voice his opinion, sad day on the Southside, lost a great Dad to the neighborhood from long ago. Rip sir, may the angels carry you and place you at God's side. Condolences to the family. Kara Mack Ralston.
