Robert Mitchell Obituary
Robert worked for the South Carolina Parks Recreation and Tourism for many years after graduating from the University of Wyoming. He eventually became the Superintendent of Hampton Plantation State Historic Site. He retired in 2014 and moved to Cody, Wyoming because of his love for the state.
He is survived by his brother David (Theresa) Mitchell and son Thomas Mitchell. He was preceded in death by Robert Lowell Mitchell (father), Claude Knorr (step-father), Carrie Knorr (mother), Mike Mitchell (brother), and Ronald Mitchell (brother).
A memorial service will be held on Thursday, December 5, 2024, at 3:00 p.m. at Cody United Methodist Church at 1405 Beck Avenue.
