Robert Akin Mitchell

Robert was born on August 4, 1935 and passed away on Tuesday, September 6, 2016. Robert was a resident of Hancock, Maryland at the time of his passing. He was a U.S. Army veteran having served in both Korea and Vietnam. He was married to Mary. No funeral services or visitation will be conducted in accordance with Mr. Mitchell's wishes with the exception that Military Honors will be conducted at the Md. Veterans Rocky Gap Cemetery at the convenience of the family. The family requests that any memorial donations in his name may be made to the Department of Maryland V.F.W. Wounded Warrior Project War Memorial Building Room J 101 North Gay Street Baltimore 21202-4043.
