Robert G. Mock

Robert George Mock, 56, of Lower Burrell, died on Wednesday, March 11, 2026, in his home. He was born in Windber and has been a resident of Lower Burrell for the past 21 years. Mr. Mock was a member of St. Margaret Mary Roman Catholic Church, Lower Burrell, and worked as a financial analyst for Synopsys, Canonsburg, and had previously worked for BNY Mellon. He enjoyed cars, especially Mustangs, sports, basketball, and his kids' sports. Above all else, he enjoyed spending time with and taking care of his family. He also loved his dog, Molly; cats, Lucy and best buddy, Yoshi. He is survived by his wife of 28 years, Jennifer Clyde Mock; three children, Lauren Mock (fiance, Ben Richards) of Seven Fields, Tyler Mock (fiancee, Maddy Gormley) of Forest Hills, and Megan Mock of Lower Burrell; mother, Janet C. Soika (Thomas) Holsopple of Windber; father, Francis F. (Marilyn) Mock of Bedford; sister, Kimberly (Paul) Gentile of Sarver; brother, Jeffrey Mock of Windber; nieces and nephews, Nick (Ashley) Gentile, Stephanie Gentile (Kenyon Parker), and Cameron Mock; and brothers-in-law, Donald Clyde of Roanoke, VA, and Gary (Robin) Clyde of Nanty Glo, PA. He was preceded in death by his in-laws, Lavon and Dwight Clyde. Friends will be received from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m., Sunday, March 15, 2026, at RUSIEWICZ OF LOWER BURRELL FUNERAL HOME, 3124 Leechburg Road, at Alder St., where Prayers of Transfer will be said at 9:30 a.m., followed by Christian Funeral Mass at 10 a.m. on Monday, March 16, 2026, in St. Margaret Mary Church.
