I am still missing my friend

I was Mr Moeder's nurse for many years but I think he showed and taught me more about life and living than I could ever have learned without him. In the face of serious, horrible illnesses, I never saw him struggle, never heard him complain....even though he had every right to. I will never forget that winning smile, his friendliness and his love for his family. May he rest in peace and may his family find comfort in the love and support they gave him--this sustained him for many, many years Mona Cantu

The only comfort I can find is the thought of the Moeder reunion that took place in heaven when he arrived! Cling to each other and know that you have extended family who loves and grieves with you.

I want to thank you all for sharing such a wonderful person with me. Mr. and Mrs. Moeder have always treated me like family, as have you all. This loss falls heavy on my heart and I know how much he meant and touched the people around him

It is upsetting to know that my visit was not in time to see him once more, but as one of his wise grandsons said when I mentioned how I would have liked to have gotten one last hug, "...we just have to think about the hugs we did get rather than the ones we didn't".

His grandson is right, I will cherish the memories I have had with him and you all. Thank you and I am so very sorry for your loss.
