We still miss our dear friend Bob. We know he is watching over all his family from heaven above with the love he shared with so many of his friends as well.

Thinking of the Montavon family...
Dave & I went to high school together & reconnected at St. Leonard's, much to my surprise, as i was walking down the hall, the night my husband was being admitted, and Dave was in the hall outside his dad's room & we both did a double take...
So I got to know his mom & dad & would chat with them frequently... both very nice people. I miss seeing them on my daily visits to St. Leonard.

What a great man - served his university, community, parish and K of C council and participated in so many ways to assist others. A true gentleman and I never heard him say an unkind word to anyone. My deepest condolences to Carolyn and the children and grandchildren.

So many happy memories of time together at the University of Dayton and all the great lunches out. We are so glad we were able to be together for a short visit in May. We will never forget the fun we had together as four good friends. Our love and prayers are with all the family. Love, Tony and Ethel

Our sympathies to Bob's family. We were out of town and didn't realize that he'd passed away. I was Bob's "boss" at the University of Dayton Libraries from 1985 until he retired and remember him fondly and appreciatively for his expertise, insight, and always helpful advice.
Again, our condolences and regrets that we were unable to attend his services. Bob will be greatly recalled as a kind and wonderful gentleman.

Our thoughts and prayers are for Carolyn and the entire family during this difficult time. Our faith gives us the comfort to know that we shall meet again in a heavenly reunion. Bob was a fantastic person and is certainly enjoying his eternal reward at this time.

Carolyn and family,
We were shocked to hear the news about Bob yesterday when we were there
with Nadine. We knew he wasn't in the best of health and we had seen him
recently in the Dining Room but things must have changed quickly for him.
We always enjoyed seeing him with his pleasant attitude and sense of humor.
We want to extend our sympathy to you, Carolyn, and to your family. We will
miss him as we know you all will. Take care and know that we are praying for
your healing.
