Rob made us smile. His positive outlook on life and wit were unique and feel irreplaceable. Even back in college where we met he was calm and introspective and encouraged us to spend some time thinking deep thoughts too. We thought we'd have a lot more time to eventually catch up. It sucks we were so wrong.
Good vibes.

I met Robert through a mutual colleague. He was reserved and intelligent. He will be missed.

How I remember R. 8/6/16, Portland. His kind smile, his deviously intelligent look (what's in the bag?), his casual kindness, his t-shirt... always co

Thanks for sharing Rob with us. His PREP students loved putting on the plays he produced. I will always remember how proud Rob was displaying the PREP students projects! We will all miss Rob.

I am so sorry to hear about Rob's passing. He was a dedicated teacher and quite creative. We had so many wonderful conversations about our families and the students we taught. My heart goes out to his wife and sons. God bless.

It's so hard to put into words the beauty that was Rob. He was such a special, kind, loving person. I met him when he started seeing Jeanne over 40 years ago, and we were close friends ever since. It's so sweet that you mentioned the concerts we always attended, Jeanne, they were special to us and we had so much fun seeing our favorite artists live, many memories...he will be in my thoughts always.
Rob was my brother.

I am soo sad and sorry to hear of Rob's death. He was the gifted teacher at Clara Barton elementary school, where I was a teacher. He was such a sweet , kind and thoughtful person . He would often stop in my room and visit and so often talk about his beloved wife and children. Yes, he was a very, very nice and gentle person. Please accept my sincere condolences . Sharan Mandell
