I will always remember him outside watering the flower beds with a smile. We lived across the street. My son Grayson used to play basketball in our driveway. Mr Moreland gave our family season tickets to the TSU Tigers basketball games. It was fun, and very much appreciated!

So sad to hear coach pass. My best memories cover friendship and mentoring as a kid growing up with his son Ricky. He would let us (neighborhood kids) play in the gym at UJC all the time. He even gave me a key to the gym to keep all the time so us kids would have something to do. He and his wife was really good to my grandmother- Willie B. Broome and would always stop over to check on her when I joined the Navy. Thanks Coach and Vicki. God Blessed me to know and have known a great man. Glenn Broome.
