Morgan, Robert R. “Bob”, 91, Hill Valley, went to be with the Lord on Saturday September 7, 2024, at home surrounded by his family. Born January 29, 1933, Hill Valley, son of the late Ralph S. and Agnes G. (Garver) Morgan. Preceded in death by his loving wife, Della (Pawuk) Morgan; and a brother, Leon “Jim” Morgan. Survived by children, Peggy Stauffer and husband Bill, Altoona; Robert “Bob” Morgan and wife Sandra, Hill Valley; Janet Gerholt and late husband Jon, Hill Valley; and Randall S. Morgan and wife Kimberly, Hill Valley; 7 grandchildren; 19 great grandchildren; and 1 great great grandchild; sisters, Audrey Wilson, Hill Valley; and Margaret Gaisior, Chambersburg. Bob worked at US Refractories in Mount Union, drove trucks, spent time as a logger, plumber, worked at the General Motors Plant, and helped his brother with his excavating company. Bob was mainly known as a dairy farmer at his family farm in Hill Valley and was a school bus contractor from 1975 until turning things over to his family in 2021. He will be remembered as a jack of all trades and able to fix almost anything. He enjoyed hunting, shooting firearms and reloading shells. Most of all he loved to spend time with his family and friends. Family and friends will be received on Saturday September 14, 2024, from 9 a.m. until the time of service at 11 a.m. at the Singer’s Gap Independent Church, 16290 Hill Valley Rd, Mt Union, PA 17066, Pastor Crist Mentzer, officiant. Interment to follow at Germany Valley Cemetery. Arrangements have been entrusted to Heath-Anderson Funeral Home & Cremation Services, 61 E.
