Robert Wayne "Bob" Morris

I am saddened by the news of Abe´s passing. Came to know him in the latter part of his career at the Orangetown Police Department (OPD). The job was changing over and many new hires came on - I being one of them in 1990. He was such a kind soul with a dry sense of humor that was so funny. He often quipped with a remark that made anyone in his presence laugh. Always professional, and rarely lost his temper - always an even keel. Bob, you will be missed. Rest in peace brother.

I worked with Bob many years on Orangetown PD Bob was always a gentleman and a good cop. He was always in a good frame of mind and always made you laugh with his great sense of humor. Even off the job Bob was a great guy. I'll miss him. John Antonucci

It was with great sadness when I heard of Abe passing, he was a true gentleman and good police officer,I had the honor and privilege to work with him at OPD.I never once saw Abe get excited or lose his cool, he had a steady resolve that could deescalate the most critical incidents.He had a good sense of humor and reminded me of Bob Newhart with that deadpan comedy.You will be missed Abe,we will see you on the other side.

Prayers and Condolences to the entire family. Allow your memories to comfort you and your faith continue to guide you. I work the same squad with Bob for a few years until he retired. He was always a kind and hilarious person with me. His favorite quote that kept everyone off guard when asked a question: "Why, what did you hear?" LOL
