Robert Angus Munro

Robert Angus Munro, a resident of Darien, passed away on Friday, July 31, 2009 at Stamford Hospital. Born in 1932 in Rockville Centre, NY, he was the son of the late Elizabeth Verdier and Angus Bethune Munro. He was 77. Robert graduated from Union College in 1954. He worked for IBM for 32 years and prior to that worked for Addressograph-Multograph and Gartner Group. He is survived by his wife, Christy Dostal Munro of Darien; a son, Robert A. Munro, Jr. of Darien; a daughter, Laura E. Munro of Denver, CO and one grandson, Colfax Munro Hamilton. He is also survived by a sister, Betty King of Cheshire, CT. A Memorial Mass will be held at St. John R. C. Church, 1986 Post Road, Darien on Thursday, August 6, 2009 at 10:00 AM.
