Murphy, Robert C., 81, of West Seneca, entered into rest on October 25, 2025. Beloved husband of 47 years to Wendy E. (nee Moore) Murphy; loving father of Brian P. (Michelle) Murphy; loving dad to Corrin (Shawn) Murphy, Edward (Carrie) Otto, and Amy (Joe) Robinson; adored papa to Patrick, Rylie, Mackenzie, Connor, Shane, Rachael, Joey and Shelby; great-grandpa to Eli, Ivy and Ford; loving son of the late Robert J. and Audrey (nee Seligman) Murphy; dear brother of Carol (late Gene) Bratek, Cheryl Lenahan (Dave Luciano), Gail (late Dennis) Nicholson, and Lawrence Murphy. Also survived by nieces, nephews, cousins, family, and friends.
Robert served as a member of the Tactical Air Control Squadron for the United States Navy. He earned the National Defense Medal and Armed Forces Expeditionary Medal. He was a proud member of the West Seneca Police Department, serving the community for 20 years as a patrolman and detective.
Relatives and friends may visit the LOMBARDO FUNERAL HOME (Southtowns Chapel), 3060 Abbott Rd., Orchard Park, near Lake Ave., Tuesday (October 28th) from 4-8 PM where a prayer service and military honors will take place at 7:30 PM.
