Robert Wendell "Bob" Musser

1948 - 2025

Robert Wendell "Bob" Musser, 77, passed away on Tuesday, Nov. 18, 2025 at the Select Specialty Hospital, Johnstown.

He was born Nov. 12, 1948, the son of Wendell Musser and Irene Walker.

Bob started as a Sales Representative for Quaker State Refining Corp from 1970-1992, and then as an Account Executive for Erie Petroleum Corp from 1992-1996. He then worked for Guttman Oil Company from 1996-2002 as a Sales Representative and then Windward Petroleum Inc. from 2002-2012 as a Territorial Sales Manager. He then retired from Noco Distribution LLC.

He was currently attending the Clearfield Alliance Church and accepted Christ as his Savior at age 16, while he was a member of the EUB Church, Clearfield.

Bob was a member of the Shortway Pilots Club where he served as a past president. He enjoyed flying planes to different places throughout the country after achieving his pilot's license in 1972. He also enjoyed caring for his horses and listening to gospel music. He was an avid hunter and fisherman.

Mr. Musser served with the U.S. Navy Seabees in the Vietnam War.

Bob is survived by his wife Janis (Conrad) Musser whom he wed Aug. 17, 1974; a brother, John Musser and wife Barb of Philipsburg; and numerous nieces and nephews.

He is preceded in death by his parents.

A funeral service will be held at the Beardsley Funeral Home and Crematory on Friday, Nov. 21, 2025 at 12 p.m. with the Rev. James Evilsizor officiating.

A visitation will be held at the funeral home on Friday from 10 a.m. to 12 p.m.

Interment will be in the Historic Crown Crest Cemetery.
