Bob was a great friend and a wonderful gentlemen. Always had a beautiful smile. I will miss him very much but I know he is happy being in heaven with our Lord. Rest in peace my dear friend.

We extend our sympathy to Bob's family. We met Bob & Betty at Annville Institute when we moved from Iowa to Gray Hawk, Kentucky in 1971. We loved the school there & were sad to see it closed. We cherish the people we knew who taught & worked there until it closed.

The Pond Creek Vol. Fire Dept. in Annville, Ky would like to send our thoughts and prayers to all of the family of Bob as we called him. Chief Bob was the First Fire Chief of Pond Creek Fire Dept. in 1971 and to this day is still the largest Fire Dept. in the County.
