Dear Julia,
I just learned of your brother's passing and wanted to express my deepest sympathies to you and all of your extended family. Dr. Nash was an awesome example of what following Jesus is like; he was a great mentor and respected professor of mine when I was a student at CWC. I'm sure he had a very positive effect on thousands of students over the years. I appreciate his influence in my life and am sure he leaves a hole in many hearts. My thoughts and prayers are with you.

Dear Harriet, I just found out about Bob's death from Beverly this afternoon. I am so sorry but I know he is at peace and without pain at last. Rest in Peace, Rise in Glory Bob! Love from a friend,

My prayers are with the family of Dr. Nash. The kindness and compassion that he showed to me and my family when my husband passed will always be treasured. His infectious smile would fill a room with joy. He will be missed.

I only found out about this after the memorial. I want to offer my condolences. Bob was an outstanding Rotarian, and a great colleague on the Anderson, Oconee, Pickens Mental Health Board. He will be missed for his kindness, and compassion to all.

CSM Nash, a man with many titles and accomplishments, was my father's ( MG William A Gantt Jr. ) Command CSM at the 108th TNG Command as mentioned. I know he loved my father and they spoke many times through the years. CSM Nash was a great man and a great Patriot for America! I am glad I knew him and it was a privilege to receive his wisdom through the years. The Gantt family is very sorry for your loss of this great man.

Dr. Nash was an enthusiastic and involved member of the board at Anderson-Oconee-Pickens Mental Health. Over the years I was able to appreciate his kindness and the wisdom he possessed as he approached the challenges we faced. He was always an advocate for the citizens of Pickens County and will be greatly missed. On a personal note he was also an encourager for my father Glenn. Dad was a father of two in the late 60s when he returned to complete his college degree in education. Even though Dad was older, Dr. Nash encouraged and mentored him as student as Dad completed his degree and later a career as an educator. My prayers are for the family during the loss of the man you knew as a husband, father, and grandfather but to us a friend and advocate.

I am so thankful for my interactions with Dr. Nash after becoming a faculty member in the Science Division at SWU. He was always such an encouragement. I know his fingerprints are present and will remain on our Division.

Jonathan and I thought a lot of Dr. Nash. He was a friend to everyone he met. He was such a fine example of a Christian. SWU lost an ardent supporter in his passing. He will truly be missed.

I served with CSM Nash for 23 years. He was a leaders leader. He served by example and was a great role model for many young soldiers. He will be greatly missed and my condolences go to the family and many friends. CSM (Ret) Edward (Eddie) Enfinger

Dr.Bob Nash was humble, gracious, and a true Christian servant of the Kingdom of God! His influence upon my wife ,Nancy and me as students at SWU made a great impact upon our lives! I was a student in Dr, Nash's classes at SWU in the 1980s. He was a wonderful professor and a great man. His love for his family, friends, church, country, college, and students should be celebrated. He will be greatly missed.

Harriett & Family - So sorry to hear of the passing of Bob. He was a very honorable man who was always gracious. I remember his smile and kind words each time I saw him. My prayers are with you during this time of loss. May God outpour His comfort to each of you.

Bob's loss is great not only to the family but also to friends and SWU colleagues. We pray for comfort for Bob's family and friends. Bob's many contributions to SWU, to the military, to ALIVE, and other organizations. Bob was generous and caring in so many ways. An interesting fact is before PowerPoints, Bob was an artist in classes drawing many biological figures and appreciated by his students.

Remembering the time I served with CSM Nash at Clemson and Charlotte. His contributions to the nation and his local community were outstanding. Thoughts and prayers to the Family.

Bob Nash was a long time friend. I remember well when he came to Central Wesleyan College, along with several others from Rockwood, to begin his education. He was a man of substance and grace. My thoughts and prayers go out to his extended family during this time of grief.
