It has been almost seven years. So much has changed. One thing I'm grateful for is that your influence lives on. I wish I could remember the stories and the details, but my brain doesn't quite work that way. Ha! As you well know! But there are things that you explained to me that make sense years later. I miss you, but would not want you to leave where you are to come back here! ha. Heaven is way better. Being in the presence of the Christ. Mama, Mary, and Jason are there with you too, not to mention Grandma and Grandpa and oh so many others!

I miss you so much. There were five and now there is only one.

It's been six years. This year I have seen myself as your daughter more than ever before. At the gym and in the mirror, when studying the Bible and when drinking hot water in the car. Ha. My kids tell me I sound like Grandpa. Your legacy lives on. I'm so glad to say, "I'm Bob Neal's daughter."

Miss you, Daddy. Think of you every day. Glad I was your daughter. I am grateful for the woodcarving shows and you letting me sit with you. Grateful for the Mr. Universe shows we watched together. Grateful I was your knife-sharpener. Grateful for weight-lifting and letting me speed-walk while you and Mary jogged. Grateful for the stories. Grateful for loud singing. Grateful for making up songs about whatever we were doing at the moment.

So glad you were who you were...you loved and lived in the freedom of Christ. Every day was a testimony of God's goodness. I miss you.

Bob was a dear friend and member of the Oklahoma City Woodcarvers Club for over 30 years. His smile and stories will be missed by all of us. Bob was always positive and an inspiration to all because of his artistic talent and ability to handle a knife with great detail. Peach pits seemed to be his favorite medium and always had carvings in his pocket to show off and talk about. I don't know what more to say except, his friends at the OKC Woodcarvers Club miss him.

Bob was a very dear friend of mine and of so many others I know. Lilly worked with us and that's how we met our friend Bob. I am sorry for your loss, I am also sorry that we just heard about him. Please let me know if there is anything we can do for the family.
