Robert Gordon Nehm

Robert Gordon Nehm aged 57 of Scottville passed away on Tuesday, January 11, 2022. Robert was born on January 6, 1965 in Hart, the son of Gordon Lewis and Mary L. (Claypool) Nehm and graduated from Mason County Central High School. Robert has worked at Kaines Manufacturing in Ludington for over 25 years, most recently as the Maintenance Supervisor.
Robert loved his family, especially his children and when he wasn't working, could often be found fishing for bass at local lakes, bow hunting for a trophy buck out in the woods, or mostly just puttering around his garage, usually fashioning some sort of artwork with his many tools.
Robert was preceded in death by his parents Gordon and Mary; his grandfather Albert Nehm with whom he was very close too; his brothers Harold and Steven Nehm; and his sister Gloria Thompson.
Robert will be greatly missed by his children Mason Nehm of Ludington, Brandon Nehm of Scottville, and Jessica Nehm of Poughquag, NY; his granddaughters Calliope Breeze Nehm and Nileia Hanna; his brothers Terry L. Nehm of Manistee and Gordon D. (Patricia) Nehm of Scottville; his sister Robin L. (Gerardo) Lopez of Ludington; and many nieces, nephews, cousins, and great friends.
A gathering of friends and family will take place on Sunday, January 16 from 2:00 – 4:00 pm at Wyman Funeral & Cremation Services in Scottville. Those who wish to remember Robert with a memorial donation are asked to please assist his children with expenses payable to the funeral home directly.
