Robert, and his sister, Lenda, were cherished friends in 1969-70 in Brownwood where Robert and I were HPU Delta Omicron Sigma (DOC) fraternity brothers, and Lenda was Assistant Manager of the Bowie Theatre where I worked. Condolances to the family. -- Bro. Ed Newton

My brother and I grew up with Robert, in Camp Bowie in Brownwood. He got us to join Delta omicron Sigma at Howard Payne, when we got out of Navy and started college. Great friend, I will truly miss.
