Robert T. (Bob) Orticari, 68, of Huron, Ohio, passed away unexpectedly and naturally on November 11, 2025. He was born on November 10, 1957, in Bellaire, Ohio, to the late Robert J. and Carol (Cerlan) Orticari. Bob graduated from Sandusky High School in 1976, where he was a member of the swim team.
Bob loved anything fast, from cars, to boats, to jet skiing on Lake Erie. He had a passion for boating, jet skiing, cars and trucks, and was an avid Ohio State Buckeyes fan.
Bob was a technician for Cablevision in Sandusky for many years. He then worked in sales for several area cardealership. He was an Advisior for ARC Research Company, later Vison Government Solutions, where he was a Senior Appraiser for 30 years.
After retirement, his love for cars and trucks led him to work for Ganley Chrysler Jeep transporting vehicles to and from the dealerships.
Bob is survived by his loving wife of 37 years, Susie (Holl) Orticari of Huron; his brother, Michael Orticari of Strongsville; mother in-law, Antonia Holl of Norwalk; sisters in-law, Monica (Terry) Fuller of Dublin, Ohio, and Linda (Gary) Latteman of Norwalk; aunt, Betty Cerlan (Oania) of New London, Ohio; nephews, Brendan (Beth) Fuller of Dublin, Ohio, and Justin Fuller of Littleton, Colorado; and niece, Holly Latteman of Newark, Ohio; as well as, multiple cousins, nieces, and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents.
Services for Robert will be privately held at Walker-Eastman-Heydinger Funeral Home, and he will be laid to rest in St. Paul Catholic Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be directed to the American Heart Association, 1375 E 9th St #600, Cleveland, OH 44114.
