Suddenly on January 17, 2026 Robert G. Paul, Sr. passed away at his home in Pitman. Born in Philadelphia, he was a 1966 graduate of Collingswood High School and enlisted in the New Jersey National Guard in 1967. Robert was activated from the National Guard after the USS Pueblo was captured and became an Airman 1st class and Squad Leader in the U.S. Air Force. He was sent to Phu Cat Airbase, Vietnam in June of 1968 where he transported supplies and taught English to children in a Catholic school in Qui Nho'n. Robert finished out his professional life as a Packaging Supervisor for Sony DADC in Pitman, NJ.. He was a Past Master at Parkside Masonic Lodge as well as the Past President of Collingswood Babe Ruth League.
Robert was predeceased by his parents, John J. Paul, Jr. and his mother, Evelyn D. (Nee Volz); his two siblings, Richard J. Paul, Sr. and Barbara Ann Paul as well as his son, Jonathan Michael Mazziotto. He is survived by his children, Robert G. Paul, Jr. (Christine), Alyson Anne Powell, Rebecca Lynn Quick and Lauren Elizabeth Mazziotto (Stephanie); his beloved grandchildren, Hedy Paul, Kyle Powell (Alexis), Matthew Powell, Jessica Powell, Claudia Quick, Trenton Quick, Weston Mazziotto and Vera Mazziotto; his great grandchildren, KJ, Hudson, Paisley, and Aiden; his sisters, Marguerite Wisser and Evelyn Golley and his best friend and companion, Norma Hancock.
Relatives and friends are invited to his viewing on Wednesday, January 28th from 9:00 - 11:00 AM at the HEALEY FUNERAL HOME, 1816 Berlin Road (Route 561), Cherry Hill, NJ where his Funeral Service will be held at 11:00 AM. Interment following at Lakeview Memorial Park, Cinnaminson. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in his name to the Wounded Warrior Project, P.O. Box 758516, Topeka, Kansas 66675-8516 or at https://www.woundedwarriorproject.org/
