Robert Pearson Obituary
Bob was born on April 1, 1949, to Robert and Gloria (Johnsen) Pearson in Chicago, Illinois. He entered the US Army and was a CW2 Cobra pilot serving with A-Troop 2/17 Calvary 101st Airborne in Vietnam. After being honorably discharged, he was a fixed winged flight instructor in Illinois and Ohio.
He was united in marriage to Susan Bailey in June of 1973. He worked as a certified public accountant at Tom Pearson's International marketing firm in Minnesota. He was an avid bicyclist and weightlifter. He also enjoyed cross-country ski racing.
He is preceded in death by his parents, Robert and Gloria, and sister-in-law Judith Pearson.
Bob's memory will live on in the hearts of his wife, Susan, siblings, Debra (Ken) Pearson Hall, Bonita (William) Pearson Lidfors and Thomas (Doren) Pearson, and brother-in-law, Gary Lukitsch, along with two aunts along with many friends and family.
A celebration of life with military honors for Bob will take from 2:00 – 5:00 p.m. with military honors at 3:30 p.m. on Wednesday, April 15, 2026, at the American Legion in Black River Falls.
