Robert Harold Peeler

After waging many successful battles for his health and defying odds time and time again, Robert Peeler passed away in the afternoon of August 26, 2016. Bob was a lover of community, his country, SF Giants baseball, classical music, growing begonias, and above all, his family. Bob spent his early years on the east coast in North Carolina and then New York. Work transferred him from Manhattan to San Francisco. He eventually made his way to Grass Valley where he met the love of his life and wife of 46 years, E.J. Peeler. Soon thereafter they made Loyalton their home, owned and operated Loyalton Pharmacy and had two children. Bob was predeceased by his son, Timothy and is survived by his wife, E.J., daughter, Amy Peeler, and son-in-law Patrick Randolph. At home Bob almost always had a dog by his side or on his lap and the Peeler's rescued many over the years. Donations in Bob's memory can be made to High Sierra Animal Rescue at P.O.
