Robert Penton Obituary
November 25, 1940 – April 21, 2024
Robert Penton, 83, of Milton, FL passed away at his home on April 21, 2024.
Robert was a gentle man with a wonderful smile. He loved being in his shop at home working and making numerous things out of wood.
Robert retired from Smith Bakery Sunbeam Bread Company after working over 30 years. Before that, he also served in the U.S. Air Force.
Robert was preceded in death by his parents, Luther Terry and Willie Mae (Hinote) Penton; his brothers, Johnny Penton and Luther Mack Penton; his wife, Jean Penton; and his partner, Marion Farley.
Survivors include: his daughter, Sandy K. Penton; his sisters: Betty Diurno, Ann (Jerry) Lewis, and Karen (Don) Davis; grandchildren; and numerous nieces, nephews and many cousins whom he loved dearly.
Graveside memorial service will be held at 1:00 p.m. on May 18, 2024 at Serenity Gardens Cemetery with Pastor David E. Elliott officiating.
