Mr. Robert Eugene Peppers

Mr. Robert E. Peppers, age 71, of Locust Grove, GA passed away April 12, 2012. Bobby was born in Atlanta, GA the son of the late Grady Thomas and Nellie Irene Clanton Peppers. He was also preceded in death by sisters, Helen Partee, Banny Nix, and Margie Bostic, and a brother, Billy Peppers. Bobby enjoyed spending time with family and friends, hunting, fishing and camping. He was employed by General Motors most of his working career. Survivors are his loving wife of 51 years, Sandra Boyer Peppers of Locust Grove; sons and daughters-in-law, Robert E. Peppers Jr and Rosa of Locust Grove, and Mark and Susan Peppers of Fayetteville; grandchildren, Anthony Peppers, Derick Peppers, Scott Peppers, Stephanie Lenon and her husband Avery; great granddaughter, Lauren Lenon; sister, Bea Dean and husband Earl of Stockbridge; brothers, Jerry and Penny Peppers of Jasper, and Jackie and Becky Peppers of Morrow; several nieces and nephews. A visitation for Bobby will be Sunday evening from 6 – 8:00 PM at the funeral home. Funeral service will be on Monday, April 16, 2012 – 11:00 AM in the chapel of Haisten Funeral Home.
