Robert Conrad Perry was born to Sam and Annie Perry on October 7,1940 in Carlsbad, New Mexico. He spent his youth and teenage years in Carlsbad and after graduating from Carlsbad High School, Robert Perry entered the United States Army, where he served his country ten years which includes a tour in Korea and also received an Honorable Discharge.
Robert Perry “RC” was employed by Western AG Minerals in Carlsbad, NM for many years and retired as a. supervisor.
RC was blessed to meet his soul mate and married Mary A. Earl in January 1983 .RC was a loving, caring, wonderful awesome, thoughtful husband, and. father. He loved his grandchildren. He was a true servant of GOD who always enjoyed helping others and volunteering with community organization such as: taking people to medical appointments in town and out of town, grocery shopping, St. Vincent De Paul Food Bank, Door of Opportunity and many others. Never forgetting to tell others about JESUS.
RC knew GOD and served him whole heartly and became a faithful member of Bethel Baptist Church here in Artesia, New Mexico.
RC was a true friend and a beacon of light that departed leaving behind a legacy of warmth and kindness. His absence will leave a void in our hearts and will truly be missed.
On Sunday November 10, 2024 GOD dispatched his Angels, and said “RC, thy faithful Servant, Job Well Done”, welcome in my son and RC departed this life on the wings of Glory surrounded by his loving wife and daughter Debra.
RC is preceded in death by his parents Sam and Annie Perry, sisters Mary Lou Tidwell, Barbara Hurd, brother Ronnie Perry.
Those left to cherish his memory and pass on his legacy of love are his wife, Mary A. Perry; brother, Sam Perry (Ethel) of Albuquerque, NM, sister, Doretha Nunn, of Sacramento, California, son, Christopher Perry (Amber) of Carlsbad, NM; daughters, Debra Earl of Artesia, NM; Jacqueline Robinson, (Roosevelt) of Houston, Texas, sons, Kenneth Earl, of Albuquerque, NM, Raynard Earl of Artesia, NM; grandsons, Jamar Dickey of Artesia, NM, Lance Earl (Jessica) of Houston, TX, Devin Haynes (Shuntera) of Houston, Texas. Christopher Ty Perry of Carlsbad, New Mexico, Justin Lane Perry (Tristen) of Carlsbad, New Mexico, granddaughter, Christina Rene Perry of Carlsbad New Mexico, Five Great-grandchildren, Five great-great grandchildren, and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, other beloved relatives, and friends.
