Robert "Bob" Perry Jr.

Robert (Bob) Perry Jr. , age 83, passed away peacefully on November 26, 2025. Born November 21, 1942, in Cleveland, Ohio, Bob lived a life filled with laughter, kindness, and devotion to family and friends.

He is survived by his beloved wife, Barbara (née Strang), and his cherished daughters, Debra Perry (Edward Hawks III) and Kristin Burns (Mark). He was a proud and loving "Papa" to Matthew Burns and Kathryn Burns. Bob also leaves behind his siblings, Thomas Perry (Hope), Michael Perry (Mary), and Susan Grasso (Louis, deceased), along with many nieces, nephews, cousins, and dear friends who will miss him deeply.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Robert C. Perry Sr. and Elizabeth (Reardon) Perry.

Bob will be remembered for his warm smile, infectious laugh, playful teasing, and above all, his unwavering love for those around him. He dedicated 42 years to National City Bank, serving as Vice President of Trust Operations. Following retirement, he found joy working part-time at Lost Nation Golf Course, a place that reflected his lifelong passion for golf. Bob never met a stranger; his friendly nature made everyone feel like an old friend. He also had a special love for his dogs and "grand dogs," who brought him endless joy.

The family will receive friends Thursday December 11, from 4:00 – 7:00 PM at The Abbey of Willoughby, 38011 Euclid Ave. Willoughby, (located on the grounds of the McMahon-Coyne-Vitantonio Funeral Home).

A Mass of Catholic Burial will be held on Friday, December 12, 2025, at 11:00 AM, at Immaculate Conception Church, 37932 Euclid Ave. Willoughby, Ohio, 44094. Private burial will be at All Souls Cemetery in Chardon.

In lieu of flowers, Bob's wish was for donations to be made to the Humane Society of Summit Country and/or an animal or dog rescue of your choice.
