Sincere condolences, and sorry that I am so late! I really enjoyed Robert's reporting over a lot of years. I also knew that we had to be related, however distantly, sharing last names. May he share eternal peace with our Lord.

I recall Mr. Pierpoint's reporting over the years and I think of him when I watch the M A S H television series finale. Mr. Pierpoint was good enough to lend his voice to that episode as the radio journalist reporting the end of the Korean War.

May God bless and comfort his family.

I loved the way he covered stories. Those were the days when journalism didn't mean drama over fact. He contributed so much to the world in his lifetime. I will admire him always.

My condolences to the family of Robert C. Pierpoint. I did not know him personally but I will miss his familiar voice. He was a great correspondent.

Even though I reside in Ontario, Canada, I always looked forward to Mr. Pierpoint appearing on the news. My deepest sympathy to his family

I am so sorry for your loss. I remember Mr. Pierpoint very well. I loved his voice. He was right about President Kennedy, it was not his time to die because we don't have a set time, the Bible tells us that. In Ecclesiastes 9:11,12 that the "swift do not have the race, nor the mighty ones the battle, nor do the wise have the food, nor do the understanding ones have the riches,nor do even those having knowledge have the favor, because time and unforeseen occurrence befalls them all. But, there is encouraging news from the scriptures that tell us of a wonderful future for us and this planet.

Im so sorry to hear about Mr. Pierpoint's Death,I remember his new coverage back when I was a small boy growing up in middle Georgia.May he always be remembered for all the wonderful work he did in the news field.May he rest in Peace.

We have lost a true JOURNALIST, among the greats,in the mold of Cronkite and Murrow!!! May GOD uphold his family during their time of sorrow!!
