Born in Norwood MA, he was the son of Mary Ann (Mendes) Pina of Florida and the late Francis Edward Pina. He attended Southeastern Regional Vocational Technical High School, where he earned his title as a baker, going on to work at Dorothy Jean’s Bakery out of Stoughton and Montillio’s for many years. He went on to work in construction for a few years, and then enlisted in the Army in 1993, where he was stationed in Hawaii for 3 years and was a proud Army veteran. Bobby was most proud of his boys Robert and Mateo and was a great Dad. He loved working out; it was all about longevity and doing what he could to ensure he was healthy. He had a lot of passions, looking at the stars with his son Robert or being a mentor to his son Mateo and an all-around father figure loudest cheerleader for all the boys on his son’s football team, He loved all the kids like they were his own. He was a devoted husband, father, son, brother, uncle, and friend and will be greatly missed by those who knew him.
