Robert Carleton Pope, born on March 7, 1942 in Buffalo, NY, peacefully passed away at the age of 82 on October 20, 2024. He was the son of the late George and Helen Pope of Buffalo.
Having earned an associate's degree, he enlisted in the army during the Vietnam war. Robert was a dedicated professional in the field of computers and excelled in his industry until his retirement.
In addition to his professional achievements, Robert found joy in life through his hobbies, which included gardening, football, hockey, politics, and visiting parks. He found solace and contentment in these activities throughout his life.
Robert is preceded in death by his parents, his brother Don Pope and his sister Sharon Pope.
Robert will be missed by the loved ones he left behind, including his loving wife Pauline, daughters Katy Branam (John) and Carrie Hacha (Mike), as well as grandchildren Lucas and Emily Hacha.
A graveside service will be held at Dallas/Fort Worth National Cemetery on November 5th, 2024 at 2 PM. Family, friends, and acquaintances are invited to attend the funeral services to pay their respects and offer their condolences during this time of grief and remembrance.
May Robert rest in eternal peace, his memory forever cherished in the hearts of those who knew and loved him.
