It's almost impossible to believe Bob has been gone 4 years. Too young, too soon. Always to be remembered and a really good friend.

I always enjoyed catching up with you at local shows, quick emails or stopping by the shop to talk about the hobby. No matter how deep our hobby conversation would get, you would always ask how the kids were doing. That meant a lot, considering our lives are also about family and friends, not just breweriana items. Its an honor to call you a friend. Many prayers for Andrea, your family and countless friends. RIP my friend.

Bob was a customer of my beer can business in the mid-1990's. Over the years we had many nice conversations about his passion for PA breweriana. His skills in the restoration field were exceptional. When he met Andrea his life was complete. I send my sincere condolences to his family and friends.

I knew Bob before I ever met him. Andrea was my "train friend" and we discussed many matters of life and Bob was always front and foremost in Andrea's life. Her descriptions and stories made him sound extraordinary.

Then I met him and he WAS extraordinary; in humor, in intelligence and in kindness. He filled every room he entered with his fun personality and his intense love for Andrea was always apparent.

Bob was my friend and I feel strongly that the world is less without him. To say he'll be missed is an understatement.

Bob will be missed by the collecting community. It was always a pleasure to see him at beer meets, and we still talk about the "open house" tour he participated years ago. My condolences to his family and friends.

Bob was a friend to all of those in the breweriana hobby who knew him. He was so friendly and great to talk to, and so talented at restorations. He did a number of my pieces and did beautiful work - a true artist who cared about his subject material. Our hobby has lost a true asset and we collectors have lost a good friend. I am so very sorry for the loss of Bob, and will greatly miss seeing him at our shows and conventions.

"Spotamipalous!" he just kept yelling "Spotamipalous!!" Back in the day, a bunch of us at game night were playing Pictionary and he wanted to say hippopotamus... I laughed so hard I cried. I love him for that gift, and so many more reasons too long to list, because you see, he did it on purpose- to bring great joy to the lives of those he loved. He wasn't flustered, just acting a fool because it made me laugh. Do you realize how often the word "hippopotamus" is used in America? I do... and now I hope you will too! Thank you Bob, you were always there for me when I needed a friend/personal hero, I will spread joy in your memory as often and in as many ways as I can!! <3 Always & Forever...
