Robert Monroe Rambin JR.

Robert Monroe Rambin, Jr., of DeRidder, Louisiana, passed away on August 26, 2025, at Lakeview Hospital in Covington, Louisiana. Robert was born on September 13, 1976, in Jasper, Texas. He was a beloved son, brother, uncle, and friend. Robert is survived by his father Robert Rambin of Texas; loving mother Brenda Folsom Beane of DeRidder, Louisiana; cherished sister Valorie Ann Davis of Killeen, Texas and sister Kim Kines of Jasper, Texas; as well as four adoring nephews-Chandler Griffin of DeRidder, Louisiana, Carter Griffin, Caiden Griffin, and Gunner Baumgardner-all from Killeen, Texas; and two precious aunts that meant the world to him, Linda Whittington of Merryville, Louisiana and Debbie Folsom of Porter, Texas. He was preceded in death by his dear nephew Colton Griffin. Robert had an infectious spirit that brought joy to everyone who knew him. His passions were many: he found enjoyment in flint napping, spending time along the river banks fishing and had a passion for chicken tending. He was a true car enthusiast at heart with a particular fondness for classic cars and movies that spanned generations-he often shared these interests with family during lively gatherings filled with laughter. His culinary skills were unmatched; Sundays would find him whipping up delicious meals for his nephews-a tradition they all looked forward to each week. Cooking wasn't just about food for Robert-it was an expression of love that nourished both body and soul. A proud dog dad to Bella-the loyal companion who never left his side-Robert's affection extended beyond human connections; it encompassed every living being fortunate enough to cross his path. In celebration of a life beautifully lived and deeply loved by so many people across various walks of life a memorial service will be held on Saturday morning August 30th at Labby Memorial Funeral Home Chapel in DeRidder at 9:30 AM. Bro. Mark Norword will officiate this heartfelt gathering where stories will be shared among those whose lives have been touched by Robert's kindness. Following the service there will be a luncheon hosted at TLC Event Center located at 2496 Highway 190 West-a time dedicated not only to mourning but also rejoicing together over memories created throughout years spent alongside such an extraordinary man. As we bid farewell today let us remember how much brighter our world has become because he graced it with his presence-and may we carry forth pieces of him within ourselves always!
