Gary Lee Fason

 Gary Lee Fason, 70, of Greenbrier, Arkansas, passed away peacefully on October 2, 2025, surrounded by family. He was born October 24, 1954, in Conway, Arkansas, to Billie Jean and J.D. Fason.

 Gary dedicated more than 30 years of his life to working for the City of Conway Street Department, where he was known for his hard work and dedication. Gary had a love for old cars, a gift for storytelling, and a special fondness for trips to Branson. Above all, his greatest joy was his family, especially his grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

 He was preceded in death by his parents; his daughter, Leeann Fason; and his brothers, Billy Fason and Steven Fason.

 Gary is survived by his devoted wife of 53 years, Marilyn Fason; two sons, Shannon and Allen Fason; and his beloved grandchildren: Carly (Jaden) Shumate, Chase Fason, Justin (Gabby) Fason, Lance (Kayla) Fason, Kadee (Nick) Pruitt, Caden Fason, and Tristan Hendrix. He was also blessed with great-grandchildren Baylor Shumate, Andy Fason, Josie Pruitt, and Cora Hendrix. He is also survived by his sisters, Sandra (Kenny) Reed, Margie Hall, Tammy Fason, and Brenda Fason; and his brother, David Fason; along with many extended family members. Gary’s legacy of love, laughter, and storytelling will live on in the hearts of all who knew him.

 Family and friends are invited to gather and celebrate his life for a visitation on Monday, October 6th from 6:00 - 8:00 pm, at Wilcox Family Funeral Home.
