Bob will be remembered by dancers and friends for many years to come. As a dancer and teacher myself now almost 20 years, I enjoyed talking with Bob and having dinner with him at his restaurant, discussing life and business and years past when he got things going. He bragged about the great dancing of the past and wished more dancing would continue, especially with the next generation. Medina Ballroom has stood the test of time thanks to Bob and his wonderful family. The vision of bringing so many talented musicians to an open ballroom venue helped people get close to legendary rock bands and country music stars, I enjoyed that part of the entertainment when I was younger and still today. As for the Ballroom itself, we as dancers, have enjoyed for decades now the beautiful, large dance floor. And continue to celebrate it this weekend with Minnesota Madness/ Dance a Paloosa, the tradition continues. With the likes of the Jerry O'Hagen Band, Tim Patrick and the Blue Eyes Orchestra and others, dancing to honor what Bob helped build will continue, and the joy and smiles of what he built is what put Medina on the map. In honor of Bob, let's dance! Thank you my friend. God Bless the family, which continues the Medina Ballroom Entertainment Center operation, we appreciate you all. Bob lived one heckuva good long life, and I am honored to have known him.

To the Raskob family.
I am so glad I got to see Bob at his 90th birthday party and on Friday the day he died.
Clarence and I had such wonderful times with he and Geri with trips to Vegas and Hawaii and the weekly dancing at the ballroom since they opened 60 years ago. They were so special to us.
I will miss talking to him over the phone.
My love and prayers to the family,Lola Behling.

Mark, Paul, Brian, and Tom and Robin - I'm sorry to hear about the passing of your father. I remember meeting him in the office on the first day of work at the Ballroom so many years ago, and visiting with him when he was at the Ballroom.

Sending hugs and prayers to all the family. I worked at Medina Lanes all during high school and after. Bob was always so kind to me. Giving me a ride home when my dad could'nt and making sure all our cars started late at night when it was cold. His hard work and big heart was an inspiration! He will be missed.
