Robert T. Reeves, 75, of Leesburg, died Wednesday, August 28, 2024 at his home. 

His funeral service will be 10:00 AM, Saturday, September 7, 2024 at Mathews Funeral Home with interment to follow in Leesburg Cemetery with military honors. Dr. Josh Posey will officiate. 

Born in Doerun, to the late Hubert and Mary Reeves. Robert retired from Flint Beverage as Vice President and served his county during the Vietnam War as a pilot for the U. S. Army. He loved to play golf, fish, hunt dove and quail watching the Georgia Bulldogs and Braves and that he loved watching his grandsons play baseball for Lee County youth baseball and watch his granddaughter play in the Lee County band. 

He has fought cancer for 10 years and the family is thankful to the Phoebe Cancer Center. 

Besides his parents he was preceded in death by his love of his life of 50 years Patricia Suzanne Reeves, sisters, Dorothy Warren and Brenda Martin. 

He is survived by his son, Greg Reeves (Savannah Ga,) daughter, Bridgett Cromer (Christopher) of Leesburg Ga and Grandchildren, Elizabeth "Izzie" Reeves, Jackson Casey, Joseph Casey of Leesburg Ga and Rosie Cromer of Pelham Ga. Sisters Nancy Meadows (Jerry), Sara Clark (Steve) Brandi Withrow, brother in law Curtis Green, and nieces and nephews. Best Friends Donny Pitts and Randy Kirby. 

The family will receive friends, 9:00 to 10:00 AM, Saturday, September 7, 2024 at Mathews Funeral Home.
