Robert C. “Craig” Risley, age 63, of Aston, PA, formerly of Broomall, PA passed away on April 2, 2021. Born in Wynnewood, PA, he was the beloved son of the late Herbert and Doris Risley (nee Parker).
Craig had a real love for sports. He was an avid Phillies fan, played on PNC Bank’s softball team, enjoyed golfing at Paxon Hollow Country Club, grew up on Merion Golf Course, loved watching WWE and liked working out at Sussex Fitness Center in Broomall. One of his favorite TV shows he loved to watch was “The Honeymooners.” He also liked listening to old country music especially, Alabama, Clint Black, George Strait, and Charlie Daniels.
Two of Craig’s favorite places to visit was taking trips to Naples, FL and to Ocean City, NJ. He also liked trips to his favorite store, Wawa! He was a nature lover who enjoyed going to the park and all animals were special to him!
What was most dear to Craig was his family, especially hanging out with his grandkids. Craig was a humble, quiet man, who had a kind heart, accepting of all people, and was a real family man who will be deeply missed by all.
Craig was the loving father of Laura Risley Jones (Matthew) and Krista Sherwood (Matthew); caring grandfather of Joshua, Elijah, and Baylie; devoted brother of Parker Risley (Audrey), Barry Risley, Brian Risley (Jeff), and Nancy Burris (George).
Relatives and friend are invited to his Gathering, Wednesday, April 7, 2021 6:00-8:00 PM at The Donohue Funeral Home, 3300 West Chester Pike, Newtown Square, PA 19073, 610-353-6300.
