Robert Rivero Obituary

Obituary published on Legacy.com by Mission Park Funeral Chapels Cherry Ridge on Dec. 10, 2025.
Robert M. Rivero passed away on December 5, 2025 in San Antonio, Texas. He was born on October 21, 1937 in San Antonio, to Rudy Rivero an Carmen Luna Rivero. Robert was a 1956 graduate of Brackenridge High School. In June 1960, he married his beloved wife, Carmen. They were married 55 years.

Robert worked most of his years in the retail industry. He was employed by Joske's Department Store, Dillard's, Fancy Feet Shoes, and Discount Shoes. He also worked at his church, St. Vincent De Paul.

He and his wife were members of St. Vincent De Paul Catholic Church for over 50 years. He was a Eucharistic Minister for many years.

In his spare time, he enjoyed spending time with his family and his two granddaughters, Shannon and Dana. His granddaughter (Shannon)named him 'Bachabah' at the age of one and that was Shannon and Dana's name for him until he passed.

He attended art school in the early 1960's and loved to draw and paint. He especially loved to build and paint WWII model airplanes.

He and his wife enjoyed traveling to other states and spending time with their friends.

Robert was a friend to all and loved to talk with everyone. He knew no stranger.

His memory may have faded, but his love for his family and friends will remain forever.
