Robert L. Robbins

 

Mr. Robert L. “Bob” Robbins, age 74 of LaFollette went to his heavenly home on Friday, September 22, 2023.  Bob was a long-time member of LaFollette Church of God where he served as Sunday School Teacher, and several other roles within the church.  He was the owner and operator of Bob’s Merchandise on Nevada Ave. for many years.  Bob enjoyed gardening, was a constant prayer warrior, and loved witnessing to and uplifting everyone that he met.  Preceded in death by Parents, Lon and Margie Robbins.

 

Survivors: Wife of 42 years, Florene Wilson Robbins; Daughter, Kimberly Wheble and Husband, Rev. Jason; Beloved Grandsons, Jaxon Robert and Elliot James Wheble; Sister, Patricia Robbins; Several Cousins, other extended family members and friends. 

 

Funeral Services Tuesday, September 26, 2023, 7:00 P.M. at LaFollette Church of God with Rev. Jason Wheble, Pastor Michael Dent, and Rev. Bill Floyd officiating.  The family will receive friends from 5:00 – 7:00 P.M. Tuesday before funeral services.  Family and friends will meet Wednesday, September 27, 2023, 10:30 A.M. at Walters Funeral Home and proceed to Bakers Forge Cemetery for 11:00 A.M. Graveside Services and Interment.  Walters Funeral Home of LaFollette is honored to be serving the family of Mr. Robert L. “Bob” Robbins.
